Let's simulate this scenario in EcoVirtual. Go to the menu **//EcoVirtual > Multi species//**, and then **//trade-off...//**. Two windows will open: (1) the table for the parameters of the simulation function, (2) a graph with the species rank:

Change the **//Best Competitor abundance (sp1)//** parameter and see what happens with the graph:
